Cape Greco

Cavo Greco (Cape Greco) sea caves are well worth a visit. You will often see people diving off the cliffs. The scenery is pretty spectacular - stunning drops down to a crystal blue and turquoise sea. A word of warning to those who are daring enough to take the plunge though- there are some dangerous currents around this area. The sea caves lie off the Protaras - Ayia Napa Coast road.

Follow the road to Protaras and take the first road to Cavo Greco. About 150m along the road there is a small dirt track with a sign post to the caves. Cape greco is an area of protection regarding the wildlife of cyprus. Forestry areas are protected from hunting.

The many new villas in Cape greco are making this area very popular with holidaymakers looking for a peaceful and relaxing enviroment on the east coast of cyprus. Amongst one of the paths, you will find a beautiful church, used for weddings and a spectacular photogenic spot with an old natural bridge. Many sit on the bench here, and have their photo taken which makes for a spectacular photo.

Take the path to the top of Cape Greko [ drive almost to top and then park and walk approx 15 min walk] and sit on the benches and admire the views. There is also a modern sculpture at the top. You can sit here and watch the boat trips sail by. On a clear day the views are spectacular.

One of our villas [ ref EC14] is a few minutes walk away from Konnos bay which is a beautiful sandy beach accessed via steps from the hotel, or by car down the windy road to the car parks. Here you can find Mike's watersports, cafe and toilets.
