The  village of Pyla which is located about 15 minutes by car from Larnaca Centre, has a small selection of shops, supermarkets, restaurants and bars - as well as a historical and imposing tower in the centre square. The nearby Cyprus Tourist Office  endorsed beach is both sandy and supported by a selection of cafes, bars and restaurants. Pyla is in southern Cyprus, and historical for being the village that both Greeks, and Turks live.
